Amelie joined her sister in the painting today, coming up with two works. Sadly, I haven't talked to her about the paintings, leaving me with only brief descriptions :(

Nevertheless, here is the first one. I've given it a title based simply on what it is:

I'll have to make a better effort to talk to both children about their works next time!

For lack of time, Ame's blog hasn't had anything published yet, but in my 5 spare minutes I thought I'd share last night's dress-up.

Twas red and blue plastic kids' flip up sunglasses with her sun hat (front visor upturned to reveal three flowers), a flowing silky adult-sized scarf, with her fairy wings, wand and hair clips that just melted our hearts.

Of course, the sidelong "damn I'm cute" glances helped too.

I do have photos, but not yet online.... will come back to this post in the near future.
